What is the best quality of TCH Leasing, and how is it different to other Leasing companies?

Our people and culture that the management and the Harrrison family have created. I love the fact we are not a large corporation and offer a simplistic, efficient, flexible and tailored solution to our customers, regardless of whether they run 2 cars or 5,000.

What is your approach to work/life balance?

Being born with a heart defect, I tend not to take life too seriously. My family is the main priority, keeping healthy and trying not to get too stressed with daily life.

What is your approach to networking?

I tend to use LinkedIn quite a bit and all of the TCH Sales Team post valuable information and articles of the ever-evolving world of the Fleet. If they like golf, I will try and arrange an informal round, or work with the manufacturer and dealer contacts closely and try and encourage as many referrals.

Who has inspired you most in your business life, and why?

My wife and my MD at LeasePlan who is still a close friend of mine.

What is your proudest achievement in business?

Fortunately, it was hitting and exceeding my targets for all my 10 years at LeasePlan. The boom years did assist me though!

What motivates you?

My wife and two children and my colossal outgoings.

If you hadn’t got into the leasing business, what would you be doing instead?

A failed professional golfer or something connected with supercars!

What time of day are you at your best, and why?

I am a night owl, so definitely the afternoon. My children have tried to convince me otherwise though!

If you could have a coffee with anyone at all, who would you pick and any?

Tiger Woods for his mental strength and bouncebackability and Boris Johnson to ask him what on earth he is thinking most of the time!

How do you wind down after work?

Spending time with the family and friends, golf, road biking and watching Watford FC.
