About me/personal introduction:

I joined TCH Leasing in July 2013, firstly as a Corporate Sales Account Manager and more recently as Head of Business Development. My focus is helping the business grow the corporate fleet sector in both leasing and fleet management throughout the UK.

 

What is your business motto?

I believe in transparency, integrity and fairness with both clients and colleagues.

What is the best quality of TCH Leasing, and how is it different to other Leasing companies?

We are a family owned business it’s the team who are great people to work with. Each member is fully committed to providing the best service to all our clients. We have a great culture and I am very fortunate to work with people who are hardworking, conscientious and supportive which creates a positive environment. I hope this is reflected to our clients.

 

What is your approach to work/life balance?

I think its good to have defined lines however if you enjoy the job its not too much of problem if it spills over especially on the social scene.

 

What is your approach to networking?

Generally, people are very passionate/ emotive when talking about vehicles so it’s a good topic to discuss even when I am not at work especially at social events or when I go to the gym.

Who has inspired you most in your business life, and why?

I have always been very driven and ambitious, most recently at TCH Leasing Ken Buckley -Head of Sales is a fantastic mentor who has encouraged and supported me whilst still allowing me the freedom to grow and flourish.

What is your proudest achievement in business?

Converting a prospect into a client and building a professional partnership which enables both parties to have a great partnership for years to come. Some of our largest clients have been with us for over 20 years which is a testament to the kind of relationship we build with our clients.

What motivates you?

For me personally it has to be the initial contact with a prospect and then watching the progress of the relationship grow into a long-term partnership. Especially when the client has previously been let down by a fleet company or when someone who doesn’t necessarily deal with fleet on a day to day basis and advising them and assisting them to overcome some legislation / car policy.

If you hadn’t got into the leasing business, what would you be doing instead?

I have always wanted to open my own bakery shop since I was a teenager but it’s not something that I can do now practically.

 

What time of day are you at your best, and why?

Mornings are the best for me, exercising in the morning helps me to stay motivated for the rest of the day.

 

If you could have a coffee with anyone at all, who would you pick and any?

 My late mum; who died in 2001 miss her every day, it would have to be tea as I’m not a big coffee drinker

How do you wind down after work?

I am currently studying for a MA in Leadership and Management at Coventry University which takes up a lot of my free time outside of work however after mid-August 2019 this will be completed. I do enjoy exercising; I attend the gym where I do a variety of classes. I enjoy comedy and regularly attend and support upcoming new acts.
