Infinium Logistics Invests in Electric Future

Proposed new charging hub

Infinium Logistics is set to revolutionise electric vehicle transportation in the Essex and Kent regions with the development of a massive new van charging hub. The company has recently acquired two adjoining sites in West Thurrock, an industrial area near Lakeside Shopping Centre, for a total of £15 million.

A Hub for Electric Fleets

The proposed charging facility will be able to accommodate up to 500 vans, making it one of the largest of its kind in the region. Infinium is currently working closely with customers to finalise plans for the hub, which will be designed to support the transition to electric vehicles for fleets operating in the area.

A Strategic Investment

According to Tom Gough, investment director at Infinium, the acquisition of the West Thurrock sites is a significant milestone for the company. "The site’s prime location and our development plans align perfectly with our mission to deliver optimised facilities that meet the growing demand for efficient and low-carbon transport" he said.

A Boost for Electric Vehicle Adoption

The development of the new van charging hub is expected to provide a major boost to the adoption of electric vehicles in Essex and Kent. With the availability of convenient and accessible charging infrastructure, businesses and individuals will be able to make the switch to electric vehicles more easily.

As the UK continues to transition towards a cleaner and greener future, projects like this are essential to ensure that the necessary infrastructure is in place to support the growing number of electric commercial vehicles on the road.
