Best fleet vehicles at Company Car in Action

This week Company Car in Action has returned to the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedford; welcoming exhibitors and visitors a like.

Dubbed the UK’s largest and most comprehensive test-driving event for fleet decisions makers, this show truly does allow you to find your future fleet by finding a model that suits you and your company’s needs.

On the opening day, Ranjit Grewal from TCH Leasing visited to discover not just what the manufacturers had to say about the current market, but also to see from a customers perspective what was being showcased. The most striking point was just how quiet it was, and Ranjit wasn’t talking about the number of people! The switch to electric vehicles was evident across the board; with the Tesla 3 Model, the BMW X2 XDrive25e and the Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid just to name a few.

What is the Tesla 3 model like?

Tesla have been leading the way in electric vehicles for a long time now, so it’s not difficult to see their latest model 3 up there. With a 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds acceleration, 360 mile electric range and all-wheel drive dual motor, there aren’t many better options when it comes to the very top specs.

What features does the BMW X2 xDrive25e have?

The latest hybrid drive, the BMW X2 xDrive25e takes Sports Activity Coupe performance to new levels with a 4th generation lithium-ion battery. The hybrid specific instrument cluster allows you to keep an eye on the electric motor as well as the charge level and range indicator, both combined and pure electric, which on a full charge is up to 32 miles of pure electric driving. Whilst the eDrive button puts you in control with the ability to choose between AUTO eDrive, which is for optimal interaction between power sources, MAX eDrive and save battery driving modes.

Is the Toyota Yaris Cross available as a hybrid?

Yes! And it’s described as ‘an authentic urban adventurer’ as well. Which to us, means it’s the perfect cross of city centre working and weekend exploring. Providing much desired enhanced fuel-efficiency with the latest self-charging Hybrid system and an option of upgrading to an intelligent all-wheel drive system, it’s hard to argue against the self-acclaimed title. A true SUV and a true full-hybrid.

Is the MG ZS EV a good fleet vehicle?

A combination of practicality and zero-emissions without compromising on pure style, the stunning design is also paired with leading technology to put you in the driving seat. For fleet vehicles, the 163 mile range on a single charge is a host more than the average fleet driver will need in a day. All of which is powered by a 44.5kWh, water-cooled lithium-ion battery.

If you have been unable to make the CCIA Show this year but would still like to find out all about the latest EV and Hybrid vehicles that have come to market then don’t hesitate to contact the TCH Leasing team today.
